Vahram Muratyan is a Visual artist and Creative director. He's known worldwide for his bold visuals and for his expertise in brand content, identity and strategy. Vahram is also the author of many graphic novels, including Paris versus New York.
[About Collaboration]
Vahram and Anything have met through mutual friend a while back, by then Vahram already had MAEKAKE from us and we quickly became good friends and wished for the future collaboration. 2024, the year of Paris Summer Olympics was the perfect timing for the promised collaboration.
In this design called Matsuri(festival in Japanese), he designed beautiful Fireworks which is a must item for the festivals.
MAEKAKE is a traditional apron that has been used since the Edo period.
It serves to protect the body by tightening the hip bones.
Our MAEKAKE aprons are woven using a 100-year-old Toyota-made shuttle loom.
Materials: 100% Cotton
Dimensions: Apron – 67 cm x 47 cm (including fringe) / Belt – 260cm (suitable for waist sizes up to 95cm)
Instructions for Care:
- Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Do not wash in warm water.
- Wash separately from whites as the dye may transfer onto other fabrics. May shrink slightly after wash due to the nature of the fabric.
